About us
Sefi Fabricators has been manufacturing equipment for over 50 years with a solid reputation for high quality stainless steel equipment for labs, schools, residences, and OEM accounts. Products include Countertops, Cabinets, Worktables, Scullery Sinks & Hoods. IMC/Teddy was founded in the 1960’s, originally manufacturing conveyor systems but quickly diversified into the food service equipment for restaurants, hotels, prisons, schools and anywhere there is a kitchen. IMC is well known for their Floor Troughs & Gratings, Floor Pans, Hand Sinks, Utility Sinks, Shelving, Cabinets & Carts. We have representation nationally. In June of 1997, Asit Majumdar and Rasik Patel bought the two companies. They quickly invested in updated equipment such as the CNC, Amada Laser, and computerized systems. They then looked to expand. In February of 2003, they purchased Hudson Food Service Equipment & ASDI and in September 2005 all manufacturing operations were moved into the Long Island facility. We gained a couple great product lines – Modular Serving Systems and ASDI (Air Screen Displays & Heated Merchandisers). We had not stopped there! In April of 2003 we purchased Dietary Systems. This product line provides a meal delivery system to hospitals and nursing homes. Their products include Tray Delivery Carts, Platewarmer Dispensers, Dish Dispensers, Basket & Tray Dispensers, Drying/Storing Racks & Utility Carts. In September 2005 we purchased Bayonne Stainless Products acquiring a line of equipment for the military which includes Cold Food Counters, Cup & Saucer Dispensers, Food Prep Tables, Hot Food Tables, Compartmented Tray Racks, Rack, Storage, Mixer Bowls & Attachments, Silverware Dispensers, Steam Tables, Tableware Dispensers, Tray & Rack Dispensers & Tray Bussing Racks. We now offer a complete package to service all Consultants, Architects, Dealers and our Military. We can also customize our products to meet your needs.
